Please go to: nextstepclubhouse.org/volunteer-events\n\nTo celebrate the summer of 2022\, we will be dancing the evening away at the SUMMER SWING!!! Next Step Clubhouse along with The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte and Best Buddies of North Carolina are tri-hosting this OUTDOOR dance. In addition to great music by DJ JOEY\, there will be drinks\, snacks\, and desserts. The best part? This event is free to attend and you do not need a ticket to enter. \n  \nHere are the event details: \nThe dance itself will be in the rear parking lot (weather permitting or in the gym weather not permitting) of First United Methodist Church of Charlotte Friday\, August 12\, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Parking is in the parking garage located at 163 W. 9th St. This is the address you will want to use in your GPS/Navigation system. Detailed directions are HERE. When you arrive inside the garage\, look for volunteers to guide you the rest of the way. Once you exit the parking garage elevator\, please stop by the registration table to let us know you’ve arrived. \nParents and faculty are invited to stay and hang out in our V.I.P. (Very Important Parent) lounge. \n  \n*Please note: The Summer Swing is for those in 6th grade and older. If your child has a medical\, personal care\, or behavioral need that requires intermittent or consistent care we ask that you attend this with them or designate a chaperone that knows and understands the individual needs of your child. We want everyone who attends this event to have a safe and fun experience. \n  \n**BBNC\, DSA-GC\, and NSC follow Federal\, State\, and Local mandates with regard to the Coronavirus / COVID-19.
