No golf experience is required—Topgolf is designed for all skill levels\, making it the perfect setting to socialize\, try something new\, and spend time with friends. \nUPside Club events focus on building friendships\, fostering independence\, and creating meaningful community experiences for teens and adults. SUMMARY:New DS Parent Meetup – The Lucky Few
DESCRIPTION:The New DS Parent Meetup – The Lucky Few is a welcoming gathering designed especially for parents who are new to the Down syndrome community. This event offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with other families\, build relationships\, and begin creating your Down syndrome support network in a safe and encouraging environment. \nFamilies will have the chance to meet and connect with First Call mentors\, as well as other parents who have children with Down syndrome. This time together allows space to share experiences\, talk through what you’re navigating\, ask questions\, and feel supported by others who understand your journey. \nThe Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte (DSAGC) will host this meetup in a private meeting space at Topgolf Charlotte–University and will provide light food and snacks while families connect and get to know one another. \nThis gathering is also an opportunity to begin laying the foundation for your involvement and advocacy for your child\, while learning more about the programs\, resources\, and supports available within the greater Charlotte community. \nEvent Details\nDate: February 22Time: 3:00–4:30 PMLocation: Topgolf Charlotte–University(Meeting space details will be shared with registered families prior to the event.) \nChildren are welcome to attend; however\, families may want to plan for childcare support if their child is mobile. \nWe look forward to meeting you and your little one and welcoming you into our community.
