About the Buddy Walk

The Buddy Walk is a 1-mile walk and family fun day to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome and promote community inclusion. This year, an estimated 3,000 people will join together to celebrate in the Greater Charlotte area! This event is the largest fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, and makes possible the many programs and services provided for people with Down syndrome, their families, educators and service providers.
