DSA of Greater Charlotte offers a variety of social programs and events throughout the year. We also actively partner with other organizations to provide social opportunities for individuals with Ds of all ages. We host  gatherings including, but not limited to: regular meet-up groups, a spring gathering, a summer picnic, an annual holiday party, and more.

Dream on 3 partners with DSA of Greater Charlotte to offer opportunities for individuals with Ds and their families to participate in “one of a kind” events with area sports teams. These inclusive events are a great way to teach acceptance and inclusion in the context of local football, soccer, baseball and other sports.

The Exceptional Foundation and Best Buddies of North Carolina partner with DSA of Greater Charlotte to offer seasonal dances and social events for individuals with Ds, 6th grade and up, that cultivate connections and encourage participants to make and maintain friendships throughout the year.
