CANCELLED: Camp Holiday Session 2 (Sardis Presbyterian Church)
We have made the difficult decision to CANCEL our July session of Camp Holiday at Sardis Presbyterian. The health and safety of our campers, their families, our staff and the community-at-large continue to be our TOP PRIORITY!
NOTE: The Camp Holiday staff training scheduled for June 11th has been cancelled.
Families who have already registered for our July Camp Holiday session may choose to receive a full refund, apply their registration fee to our 2021 camps or donate registration fees to help us continue to provide virtual programming and support during these unprecedented times. Contact us to let us know how you’d like to move forward now that the July Session of Camp Holiday is cancelled.
ANNOUNCING CAMP HOLIDAY “CAMP IN A BOX”
“Camp in a Box” is a virtual camp experience that brings the excitement of Camp Holiday to your doorstep. We are offering five weeks of virtual camp. Each week will have a designated theme and age group-specific activities that align with each theme. Families may purchase individual weeks ($20 each) or all five weeks ($100). Camper scholarships are available for eligible families. Contact us for more information.
Week 1: June 22-26: BEACH Theme
Week 2: July 6-10: AROUND THE WORLD Theme
Week 3: July 13-17: HOLIDAYS Theme
Week 4: July 20-24: HOLLYWOOD CHARACTERS Theme
Week 5: July 27-31: COMMUNITY HELPERS & CAREERS Theme
Minimum 15 campers per week.
Maximum 30 campers per week.
Each week, Camp Coordinators, Ms. Ashley and Mrs. Nicole, will create boxes that include activities based on the weekly theme. These activities will be designed so that families can do the activities when it fits into their schedules.
Boxes will be divided into two developmental age groups and parents may choose which box to purchase for their campers:
- Ages 5-12
- Ages 13-21
Each box will include the following developmentally-appropriate activities, along with necessary materials:
- 3 Art Activities
- 2 Cooking Recipes
- 2 Science Activities
- 2 Physical Activities
- 1 Book
- ONLINE Appearances from Your Favorite Camp Counselors (Stay tuned!)
- ONLINE Morning Check-In videos (prerecorded)
- ONLINE Zoom Meetings (1x/whole group and 1x per age group weekly)
- ONLINE Soft Skills for Success lessons (prerecorded)
- $5 Amazon Gift Card (for Movie Fridays-weeks vary)

Camp Holiday is a day camp for campers with Down syndrome, ages 5-21.
CAMP HOLIDAY SOUTH (Session 2)– SARDIS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
July 13-31 Session 2 (3 weeks) $375 per camper (9am-2pm) or $600 per camper (9am-4pm)

Participating campers enjoy weekly yoga, drama and music/movement classes facilitated by trained professionals. Each group of campers is supported by a certified teacher and 1-2 camp counselors – offering a 1:3 counselor-to-camper ratio. Camp Holiday is all about learning and fun!
