DSAGC 3-2-1 DASH for Down Syndrome 5K & Fun Run
March 21, 2026 | World Down Syndrome Day

Join us for a truly meaningful race experience at the DSAGC     3-2-1 Dash for Down Syndrome, a one-of-a-kind 5K held on World Down Syndrome Day. This is not your average 5K—participants will run 3.21 miles, symbolizing the three copies of the 21st chromosome that make up the genetic cause of Down syndrome (don’t worry, you still get your 3.11 race time captured).

This inclusive, community-wide event welcomes runners, walkers, families, and athletes of all abilities. Together, we’ll celebrate awareness, inclusion, and acceptance while honoring individuals with Down syndrome across the Greater Charlotte region and around the world.

All proceeds from the race directly support DSAGC camp programs, serving individuals with Down syndrome from age 5 through adulthood. These programs provide opportunities to build life skills, strengthen social connections, enhance learning, and foster lifelong friendships—while removing financial barriers for families through scholarships and subsidized programming.
